Photographer's Note
Gare d'Orsay museum, lots of paintings, sculptures, drawings; the cameras are allowed but neither the flash nor the tripod, so you have to manage to take good pictures in a funny way sometimes!

Bonjour Claude
Tripods forbidden in museums, and frankly I think it should be the way. Just imagine all those amateur photographers with their tripods, other people tripping over the tripods... And besides, I'm quite sure most museum shops sell postcards of far better quality than the resulting amateur pictures.
I don't know what the idea here is, but the woman's pov will only create a distortion of the original painting.
On the other hand...as your picture demonstrates: forbidding tripods can lead to some rather disturbing sights, haha!
Long live Cézanne!

Good Morning Claude,
So amusing!
But what an opportunity to photograph a different work of art!! Presumably, you quietly slipped away without the lady's knowledge!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

bonjour Claude
Extra!

Hi Clodo,
Original and funny shot captured in the museum! Your work improves that a tripod is not necessary for a great achievement taken in that place:)
Have a nice day!

Bonjour Claude

ciao Claude
Beautiful and funny situation. You was very smart to capture a nice scene.
In France is permitted to take pictures in museums, even though without flash and tripod.
In Italy is generally forbidden and I think it's a stupid outrage because those works are the property of all.

Bonjour Claude,

Hello Claude,
I make note to my self; check around you first before trying to take a photo in a strange position, and never-ever wear stripe pants :-)
Very humorous and fun shot!

Bonsoir Claude,

Bonjour Clodo,
Your knack for the amusing has been a constant for a very long time. This photo, created 15 years ago has all the elements that make it a good candidate for the group theme Pictures at an Exhibition.
Warm regards,

Bonjour Claude

Yves.

Hi Claude
I chose this photo of yours simply because this is something I can relate to so well.
I tend to take my tripod with me most of the time, and i hate it when i can't use it, or when i'm told i'm not allowed to.
a photo that brings up alot of emotions and memories.
thanks for this one
cheers

Hi Claude
The composition of this shot is very nice and the focus is strong a perfect blend of colors is complemented by the paintings on the wall. But what makes this shot is the exposure and color contrast which make the lady in her indeed perfect pose, her concentration and the intensitiy.extremely standout. Great timing and fine work, Congrats
Warm regards
