Photographer's Note

Color coding and iconic descriptions form a subtextual language we must decypher and reinterpret in an everyday urban environment. Especially when confronted to a fully coherent (and busy) paradigm as the one represented by the centre Georges Pompidou: multiple levels, multiple activities, multiple indications to gather, categorize and transform into action.
What to see, how to do it, where to go.
Read the signs, follow the lines...
And keep in mind that signage here is bound to express a strong artistic dimension but - hopefully! - not to blur or slur the message...

Modern and contemporary art in the heart of the city (next)

Now look at the people
In the streets, in the bars
We are all of us in the gutter
But some of us are looking at the stars
Look round the room
Life is unkind
We fall but we keep gettin' up
Over and over and over and over and over and over
