Photographer's Note
Originally, the Palace was the residence of Cardinal Richelieu, who had hired the architect Jacques Lemercier to design it. Construction was completed in 1629. Upon his death in 1642, Richelieu bequeathed the palace to the French Crown.

hi malgorzata,
This is a very well composed image.
Your exposure is spot on. The colours are simple yet mesmorising.
I particularly like teh straight lines created by the blocks on the floor as they lead us to the depths of this image.
Well done and thank you for sharing.

Bonjour Malgorzata,
I have just made a very pleasant journey on your gallery. I found very beautiful photos and many places which I like!
I choose to stop on this photo, maybe because it is the place which I know best because I am Parisian.
So, I can particularly estimate the greatl quality of your photo.
You took advantage of the blue hour to make a magnificent centring where the link between the Palais Royal's architecture and the columns of Buren is magnificently realized.
Congratulations!
Diane

Hello Malgorzata,
Very good light (that creates a lots of details and makes the colors beautiful) and I like the point of view (position), because the diagonal lines of the "blocks" creates a lots of depth.
Aslo the sharpness and composition are great.
Friendly regards,
Robert

Hi Malgorzata
This is a wonderful image, the blue tones are fantastic, and I really love the architecture and its history. The capture of the empty square with what look like giant game pieces adds a lovely sense of depth, and your light management is perfect. thanks for sharing.
