Photographer's Note

Nothing says Paris like French architecture on the Seine. The Palais de Justice, site of the former palace of King Louis IX (Saint Louis), is one of the more recognizable buildings along the Seine. It was one of my favorite buildings we saw. Prior to the Revolution, it was also the meeting place of the Paris legislature. Now it houses several courts and the Louis IX's Sainte Chapelle, built to house the crown of thorns. It's quite a majestic building.

This was taken our last day in Paris. We had fantastic weather and nothing to do but explore the city. In some ways it was my favorite day of our entire trip.
