Armstrong's words are sometimes given as, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Clearly the event was of huge significance and the choice of words was quite deliberate. Armstrong maintained for some time later that he said "for a man" rather than "for man". That line was what he, with the help of his wife, had prepared in advance. The rather fuzzy tapes of the event aren't clear enough to be sure, although the 'a' does appear to be missing.
In more recent years, after listening again to the recording, Armstrong has acknowledged that he may have fluffed his line. More recently still, analysis of the tape indicates that the 'a' may have be present on the recording but is too indistinct to hear.

Picture took near Fontainebleau at the "Forêt des trois Pignons". There is a kind of desert and the footprint on the sand reminds me of that great History moment when a man touched the surface of the Moon for the first time...

Hi Carlos!!
Nice note and intresting picture.
I think that if you had ommitted the frame below then the picture would have definitelly look more like from the moon.
Nice anyway

Hello Carlos,
The composition with the footsteps and the rocks is very effective in conveying your idea. Also, the choice of black and white greatly helps you mimick the surface of the moon. Great job.

Olá Carlos, gostei da sua nota, bem interessante. Gostei de ver a areia desse "deserto" em preto e branco re-lembrando a superfície lunar. o uso da borda negra foi uma ótima opção, pois na parte superior parece a vastidão do espaço.
Boa foto

Hi Carlos!
Amazign photo! Indeed, it looks like extraterrestial landscape! And with this light managment it really looks like coming out of some TV screen of the '60s. Great idea and realisation! Congratulations!
