Photographer's Note

An easy market pic, now.

This is an African shop/stall at Montreuil fleamarket in Paris' suburbs. I was trying to find a present for a person who collects masks and thought of ...a mask (original, eh?). had my Lubitel too, i already introduced the Lubitel in a previous shot.
The thing is with 6*6 format it can be extremely discreet, as you put it flat against your belly, guestimate focus and light, while you can see in a quick bent the whole scene over the viewfinder. To get it even more natural, you can pretend looking elsewhere, your subject will follow your look, then "click", done !
The shop master didn't even noticed I was shooting.

Famous french Photographer Robert Doisneau once said that the 6*6 cameras were the most polite photo tools because they force the photographer to bend in front of his subject. I agree, I'd say it's the most discreet too.
