Photographer's Note
This shot was taken close to the "abbaye du Bec Hellouin", a splendid ensemble of buildings with a history going back to one thousand years ago. (there is a very complete website about it). The religious community living there is very active and produce local handicrafts, mainly chinaware. The abbey is in a valley. Cows are peacefully grazing close to the church. I found this view was typically representing Normandy, green grass and norman cows.

Although the light in the background is a little dim, it is great on the cows.
Thanks for the story and sharing this picture.
Great work, greetings from Werner.

Excellent, JM, I like the effect of the backlight on their ears, and the repetative pose of Maxi and Mini. Amazing green backgroung, very well captured and done.

Lovely picture and very appropriate title. I like the greenery surrounding them which brings them out even more. Too bad the top right corner is a bit overexposed. Otherwise the backlight effect is great. Well done.
