Impressionism, a photo from Haute-Normandie, North

Photographer's Note

This is taken in Claude Monet's gardens, to be precise, the water lillies pond. On mondays, the garden is closed for tourists (over 3000/day!). You only find a few painters. The abundance of colors and reflections, the rich vegetation, the quiet atmosphere introduce you deeply in the feeling painters of the impressionist period found in these scenes between 1870 and 1930.

Glorious - just like the paintings! Wonderfully composed. I think it would be really perfect if you removed the fellow standing in the left half. Seeing him there jolts me out of the "Monet-ness" of the photo.

La majorité a voté pour éliminer virtuellement le touriste. Eh bien ! C'est fait en WS.
Le jardin de Monet est difficile à photographier à cause de la forte affluence.
Belle composition de couleur verte.

Belle lumière captée ici... effectivement, le touriste en bleu dénote un peu... J'aime bien les deux façons de régler le "problème" chez Said et Linda! Bien vu, de la part de Said la duplication d'un buisson sur la droite... quant au cropping de Linda, ça marche bien aussi. Intéressante contribution...

Great picture. I've join Said and Linda in the task to remove the man in the picture but using another method. Check the workshop.

Really intersting view. It's amazing how you conveyed the feeling we are looking at a Monet painting.

I do love the various tones of green. A small subject in purple or orange may have made this perfect.

PS: I like the WS making the man desappearring, it gives the peaceful atmosphere back of a real impressionism work...
