Photographer's Note
Translation automated since the French note :
Located in top of cliff of Upstream at Etretat, this monument is devoted to the memory of Nungesser and Coli, hero of the war 1914-1918, and is intended to recall that their plane "the White Bird" left the ground of France for the first transatlantic air link, to Etretat May 8, 1927. It was destroyed in 1942 by the German army of occupation. On photography, one also sees inside the arrow representing the nose of the plane, the top of "Notre-Dame de la Garde".

Salut Bruno.
Très joli cadrage. Vraiment bien vu!
J'étais à cet endroit il y a trois jours, le ciel n'était guère aussi bleu et il y avait 2°.
