Photographer's Note

Étretat is a municipality of the department of the Maritime Seine, in the High region Normandy, in France.
Formerly modest fishermen's village, Étretat is a sea resort of good name today. She(it) is in the North from Havre to Normandy, on the coast of La Manche in country of Callus. The extraordinary and monumental aspect of its cliffs of almost spotless white chalk and its gray pebble beaches made one of the inescapable places of the international tourism. Painters as Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin or Claude Monet contributed a lot to his advertisement, by immortalizing the specificity.
