Photographer's Note
The history of the Abbey Mont saint Michel began in IX s. The construction of the Benedictine abbey began in 966. It's one of the most visited french monuments.
I was lucky this morning with the light...

Very nice lighting. The sky is a great backdrop to this, also. The colors are beautiful too. It's just a tad soft, maybe and too bad for all the car rooftops. But very nice job here. A beautiful scene well photographed.

The natural light in this photo is just radiant. Indeed you were very lucky with the morning light. The dark sky also brings more attention to the monument, making it pop out. My only distraction is the cars. Maybe suggest to try and crop the cars out.
Great photo!

Très belle prise de vue Nadia. Superbe photographie. Un petit atelier pour augmenter le contraste.
Very beautiful catch of sight Nadia. Superb photography. A small workshop to increase contrast.

You had perfect light that day! The light really shows off the details of your photo very well.
Phillipe's workshop is also nice.

Fantástica! Parece um castelo dos contos de fadas. Pena os carros no fundo da foto, mas eles estão por todo o lado, não é?.....

Well, it's hard to ague with this shot, however many times it's been done. Great light and a magnificient subject.

Great shot, the color of the light is nice.
This monument is too much visited. The small streets of the "Mont Saint Michel" are too busy !

Well done, Nadia.
The sky is great and sun reflecting in windows adds a lot of charm and the picture gets 3D look.

Warm colors, vivid sky, no crowds, almost no people... A good postcard image of The Mount. Well done!

Light and sky colour are really incredible. Very interesting effect: first superficious impression - Disney's cartoon and then because of very special lightening this primitive image is replaced with much more complicated and dramatic one. Thank you.

Just seen this. A very good example of a much photoed subject. lolidodia mentions the car park. I think the impressive thing here is how little you let it intrude, that's the big problem with this place.

I like it. I couldn't help wondering how long it will take to walk up to the abbey. What about a photo from the window of the top tower - just to get perspective. I haven't been there myself.
Nice shot!

Bonsoir Nadia,
Amicalement
