Photographer's Note

This is a bus stop in Nancy with the Porte Stanislas in the background. The Porte Stanislas was built in Doric style by architect Richard Mique in 1761 to replace an arch originally created by Emmanuel Héré, it is located at the western end of Stanislas street. This door is part of the urban plan wanted by Stanislas Leszczyński. Built in the eighteenth century, it was classified as a historic monument by a decree of January 15, 1925. It has been restored since the end of 2009.
