Photographer's Note

The farmhouse, in rural architecture, is a narrow dwelling, developing in length along the axis of the ridge, with access generally in guttereau (but sometimes in gable). Widespread in many French regions, the longhouses were generally the habitat of small peasants and craftsmen. This house must date from the nineteenth century.
