Photographer's Note

In my yesterday post I wanted to amuse you. As i expected, everyone travelling encountered similar situations. And we must enjoy it! But of course in Chambord there so many photo opportunities. One can walk on the roof and it is a great experience to see close all these funny towers.

Yesterday was World Animal Day.
World Animal Day is celebrated each year on October the 4th. It started in Florence, Italy in 1931 at a convention of ecologists.[1] On this day, animal life in all its forms is celebrated, and special events are planned in locations all over the globe. The 4th of October was chosen for World Animal Day because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, a nature lover and patron saint of animals and the environment. Numerous churches throughout the world observe the Sunday closest to October the 4th with a Blessing of the Animals.

The photos of pets are against TOS so I post a workshop. When I was walking around the castle I saw a couple with a cat. I was struck with her beauty. She was the loveliest creature I have aver seen, maybe. I wasn't shy at all and talked to the people and asked for photos, of course. The people were very kind and proud of their furry friend. For the first time I saw Ragdoll cat.
The Ragdoll is a cat breed with blue eyes and a distinct colorpoint coat. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat.It is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name "Ragdoll" is derived from the tendency of individuals to go limp and relaxed when picked up.
Have a nice weekend.
