Photographer's Note
I know that technically speaking there are a lot of problems with this this photo, but I found the view quite interesting. The sign says "federation of combatant prisoners of war", and the fact that it is left to become run-down says a lot about how contemporary history gradually becomes something of the distant past...

I agree with you that this is not an artistic photo but it deserves a reference because it is a good report about a situation. There are no technic critics to your work because the derelict house must be shown as it is really

I think this is a well seen and well shot picture that shows us how time passes on. I donīt see the technical setbacks you see. Maybe a little sharpening and contrast in an editor will help?

On this one I don't agree with Rui. On the contrary, IMO this shot got quite an arty touch. The colour toning sets the right mood, all the different materials (wood, metal, plaster and stones) show signs of aging and decay and the adds gives an interesting reference of time as well. When time passes by these adds are exchanged and thus they fit perfectly into your composition and its motive of aging. Very well done Djib, this is a winning shot for me!
