Photographer's Note

Saint-Paul-de-Tartas Départment Haute Loire - 250 habitants - Altitude 1200 m - Paris 560 Km.

I was invited to celebrate the birthday of a friend of long date in his country house which is located just beside this splendid church which dates from the 12th century.
My friend was born here in the Fifties, at the time this village was very animated and its population was of 700 inhabitants.
Currently there remain 60 inhabitants who live all the year here.

The church is not easy to photograph, I made a stitch of 26 images in order to emphasize the volume of the architecture.

Here another view of the church in only one picture.

Reasons of the repost
Two reasons encourage me for this repost with share criticisms of the Trekers colleagues:
1° the development on the sky distorts adjustment AF and in this case it is advised to set the measures on a central point of the subject and to disconnect system AF.
2° Iam not very accustomed for the use of Autopano; it is possible to refine the stitch to give a better definition to the image and to remove the phantom images which can emerge if the wind blows on the trees.
