Photographer's Note
The sunset in the Auvergne can be very dramatic, or at least very beautiful! The most amazing colors come up from time to time, which makes it a great pleasure to walk around in our neighborhood.
This one was taken in april, late in the evening. In the middle you can see the water tower of Monlet, just a very small village nearby where I live.
I hardly did any postprocessing, except for just a bit of lightening up the dark part at the bottom of the picture and a little saturation boost.
Just remember: if you want to take pictures in the evening and want to keep the distinctive 'dark' mood of that time, you have to underexpose! This shot was 2 stops underexposed, and (of course) in RAW mode.
