Is there something to learn about the world on sunsets?

I believe there's something special on Northern light on summer nights. At least sunrises and sunsets take longer time, giving more opportunities to follow changing conditions. In midsummer all through the night as it never gets really dark.
If I were a meteorologist I'd tell about those clouds too.

Hi Kari,
even without details to observe is the large version impressive because of the light filling the screen and the good texture of the water. Yes, the Nordic light has something special and midsummer light is a personal impression not to be missed.

Good catch. Panoramic format very relevant. These clouds looks elongated. Was it a windy day ?

It's a nice sunset this one Kari especially as seen in the large version. Still I think some more significant main subject had been an idea for this compo - anyway well disposed with the 1/3 dividing of the photo

Kari,
a quite simple composition with special weight on the cloud formations. Looking into the LP opens the view to the play of colors in those clouds that are actually very beautiful. I wonder how long you have to wait in such high nordic places until something in the light conditions changes.
