Hello Kari,
This picture had intrigued me a lot, since I saw the cannons and the bunker on top of the hill, went to google map and as I explored the island, saw it was well fortified from all over.
Found the precise spot of this charming tiny beach: 60.1412, 24.985 on the map.
Funny, but on the map it says that the yellow cabin we see on left is... a "Toilet (during summer)", quote.

and yes, it may be a small small beach, but if you're there are the right time of day, you could have a sweet little piece of paradise hahaha. fun and cute little scene from Helsinki! cheers

Hello Kari,
Such a nice view of the small beach, seen here in a perfect summer sunlight. The green hills and the yellow house make a fine backdrop and the large guns in the distance show the original purpose of the island.

It takes awhile to look this photo over and imagine exploring. ON a warm day there sure could be sun and water lovers crowded in. Our Oregon and Washington state beaches you can drive for miles right next to the waves and sand before turning around or exiting. No matter the size it is still nice to enjoy a beach. drt100 David

Hello Kari, a nice small beach in Suomenlinna. Nice place for some rest in the summer day. Beautiful light and colours. Again, when I was in winter all this look very different. I remember seeing these cannons on the hill.

Hello Kari, a good high point of view looking down on this tiny beach. A good title; the family on the beach are quite happy enjoying the small space.
The early evening sun (?) brings out some lovely colours and textures.
