Photographer's Note

Luciano wondered if there there are many species of butterflies in Finland. In fact quite a few can be found. One of the most common is brimstone (Gonepteryx rhamni). They are also the first ones you see after the winter. In my experience they always keep the wings together when not flying, so I couldn't offer top side view of the wings. These flowers are in the garden of my mother.
