Photographer's Note
The title should have been: "A Bee and his shadow" but I decided to take a songtitle instead :-)
Not much to say - just wait for a bee to take off- take 4 shots in a second and after 100 shots there's perhaps one useful - hope you like it.
Second note! The original wasen't looking to good - but some PP seams to have solved the problem :-)
The flower a hollyhock (stokrose).

That's got to be one of the slickest macros on the sight. Great work.

You just explained Mogens' tecnique for shooting insects in the air, but it seems to work very well for both of you :o) I like all the "flower dust" on the bees body and the motion blur of his wings. Good thing you have a digicam and lots of patience ;o)

The shadow of the bee on the flower is very nice; you can clearly see the antennas on the bee’s head. I like the pollen on the bee’s body. Perhaps a tighter crop (on the right side) would give even more focus on the bee and its shadow.

Great catch and very good picture, there is a little problem of light because the bee is dark and the surface is very bright, I liked the bee's shadow very much, the title is great.

Patience well rewarded - even if you're a lazy sod sticking by your coffee machine instead of getting into the "real wild" ;-))
He looks as if he's decided to come and get you ;-)

good shot here, I like the colours, the details are a little soft but I guess it is due to cropping, I like the white stuff on the bee, very good capture

This is the first "bee on a flower" photo that I ever saw with the bee's shadow, Jeppe, and this makes it so very special. THE "landing" pose is perfect timed. Very clean and well lit picture. Great work.

A very good job on the picture after I saw the original in the WS. The bee is well framed too. Very nice macro!

Well, it seems that you are aming for things that fly too now;-).
Well done Jeppe. It is nice and sharp and you managed not to burn the flower. However I tried to do a little PS on this fellow because I think he is a little grey on his hind body - hope it is OK. Apart from that it is a great shot.

I see, you are very creative person Jeppe. This is your portrait, as I have understood. I`m worried about, nobody take my shots to ws ? Have I made something wrong ?
