Photographer's Note
This is one of the leg throws in judo - Uchi Mata means "Inner Thigh", and it's a very powerful throw executed at the right moment.
This snapshot is from my judo club Kodokan, where some friends are training for the Naga No Kata, 2nd Dan.
Good luck, boys!
Sorry about the noise, but I couldn't go lower than ISO 1600 to get a fair exposure time.
Take a look at Tsuri Komi Goshi here if you like.

Hi Jan,
Very good picture, perfect action, right time of capturing, need a bit contrast more, I think
Sometime low speed of capture and a bit blur of motion also look nice.
well done

Davs Jan
This is an extremely action filled photo, I checked the other photos you have links to but I feel they look a little too stale. This one has just the right amount of visible action to make things really interesting.
Full focus and sharp details on the thrower, I'm guessing he is Kirikomi (student), and just the right amount of motion blur in the guy being thrown.
Light conditions in a place like this is usually horrible, I simply don't know why but I have teh same problem in my Kobudo dojo.
DOV is very good as the grainy background only serves to enhance the attention brought to the figthers.
Tak for at du deler og hav en glædelig jul.

Ciao Jan!
Perfect shot really well done and, believe me, the noise is not a big problem!
See you soon...
