Photographer's Note

Danish houses will be painted almost annually around Pentecost when weather is promising.
Typical for Svaneke city is the black tarring of the foundation walls. Most Danish houses do not have cellars, but Svaneke lies on inclined terrain, so the inclination may lead to a sufficient height difference that gives the opportunity to build a cellar.
Most Danish is the abundance of wonderful hollyhocks.

Taken on slide film with Canon A1, professionally digitalized.
