Photographer's Note

A typical Danish fishing boat.

This photo is taken in Klitmoller in nordvest part of denmark, the wether here is more hard than in the land by the Limfjord.

E'specially with Klitmoller is, there is no harbor, all boats are fishing from shore, and the boats are pull up on shore when they went home.

It was in the start of the year, kold and the sun was on the way done, I have it in my back, there was cloudy, and there was some speciel light, that pleaced me.

Very good composition, ver nice depth, great colours, good job.

and you had right yesterday, when you said it was something to sharp. But sometimes is that a problem with my monitor and I think with my eyes. Thanks for your good coment on that one, because you had right.

No more fishing today I guess... A wonderful shot Kaj - it amazes me how comfortable this boat looks on the beach... I supposed they are specially built for this kind of a "marina". Great composition and colors. Very well captured!

Kaj, it is a dark cloudy day today, and I was almost deciding to stay home and not go out to the ocean to shoot photos. Looking at the results of this shot changed my mind. It is an excellent capture, great DOF and colours. It expresses the rapid changes in the weather, and makes me realize that there are good pictures to get, even on a threatening day. Thank you for making my day eventful.

Bonjour Kaj, bonne ambiance maritime. J'ai traversé le Danemark par le Limfjord l'an passé et ait rencontré ces petits bateaux une fois entré dans la Mer du Nord.

Bonne luminosité et tonalités. J'aurai sans doute préféré un cadrage plus sur la gauche de façon à laisser plus de vide devant le bateau.

Biger than your boats:)but like befor,It's great,Kaj!
I like the harmony between the colors of sky,sea & boat here,it's played with blue tones perfectlly.
The atmosphere is a bit heavy,which I like,seems be after a day with a hard work in hard windy situation.and day with lucky passed.
Excellent composition,too.perfect & I like it alot.

Another nice boat shot, but a very different feel from normal. The tones suggest the cold day that you describe nicely.

Beautiful rich tones and colors. I especially enjoy the way that the wavy shape of the surf is repeated in the lines on the hull of the ship.
Since you have the sun in the back this must be a morning scene, but it is februar so it is at least not inhumanly early in the morning ;-)

Good work, very good picture with good composition, maybe you should place the boat in the other side of the frame.

The composition is as usual exelent, just lacks your usual sparkle, the WS does add something but still doesnt bring out any details that are lacking in the black pot marker flags

La lumiere douce ici donne un tout autre resultat et ajoute a l'image une parfaite finition.

Yes the light is special here. At first I found this shot too dark, but now I find it special. I like the framing and the movement of the wave behind the boat.
