Photographer's Note
This shot has been taken from the cockpit of the plane bringing us from Kangerlussuaq, the international airport of Greenland, to Manitsoq where I managed to be accepted by the friendly flight crew.
The spectacle was breathtaking. Landscapes were so unreal that I was sometimes wandering where the dragons were hiding.
The polarised windows of the cockpit made it difficult to render the natural colors. I had to get rid of the dominant colour, take out some details from the shadows and sharpen to get something decent. No special effects were added.
Slide film scanned before post processing.

Hi Alexandre,
It must be a great experience to be in Cockpit. Well very nicely managed picture. Nicely managed exposure and texture. Well I have never taken a pic from up in the air leave alone cockpit. But I can image it would have been very difficult.

Hi Alexandre,
you have made a very painterly photo. At first it did not come to my mind this was taken from an airplane. The scenery is truly breathtaking, perfect composition, very good contrast and sharpness. I also admire the colors. Excellent job!
Congratulations and have a nice Sunday
