Hello Michael!
As restaurants are closed in Germany as well, hotdog or Bratwurst stands (or similar) remain the only source of food when shopping in city pedestrian zones. The situation reminds me of the fifties or sixties when these were the only points of access to warm food as restaurants were rare.
It seems the Danish insist on being able to sit down properly.
We had our currywurst in standing position today, even on Bonn market square, in front of the local town hall. What a rip-off!
