Solution: In front railing and technical stuff along the metro tracks, in the middle a platform roof of frosted glass on Ørestad metro station, in the background a highrise office building.
A long narrow slice of new town close to the center of Copenhagen called Ørestad has been under construction for some years now. The area was once shallow waters just off the coast from the island Amager but during the 19th century it was filled in with, well, garbage and -um- faeces. Later it was used as a military shooting range before ending as a recreational - swamp. Now it is a rough but attractive nature area close to the city. Part of it was doomed in the late eighties to be used for urban development in an effort to raise funds for construction of a metro system.
So far the realised parts are very modern and cool, quite attractive in their own way, but I don't think they will ever achieve the qualities of classic european urbanism that was part of the rhetoric from the early stages of the project.

I still not sure ;-) May you should post the solution as workshop.
I like the lines you spotted. The "fence" acts as filter for the light and add extra to the geometric riddle. Good job as usual Torben :-)

I think that it could be oerfect with a little bit less sky. Very interesting pattern of the railing (we both have raikings today..) and roof details. I like it very much. Just a little less sky..
But still, well done, Torben.

I' amazed over how you get these ordinary things to look so great. I wouldn't even notice something like this and you, you see the potential and you are able to make a great picture of it. In that sence, you are showing me things i would never see if it wasn't for your pictures.
