Photographer's Note

And today something more experimental again, as my last posts were much less experimental. It's taken in Øresundstunnelen (the Oresund Tunnel) between the islands of Peberholm and Amager, Denmark.
It was taken from the car -of course- or actually I had my camera outside the car, so I wouldn't be bothered by the dirty windows.
The picture was taken on our way back from Sweden in June last year.

Øresundstunnelen is part of Øresundsförbindelsen (Oresund Connection), actually the western and Danish part of the connection between Denmark and Sweden. The Swedish part, Øresundsbron (Oresund Bridge) can be seen in this picture.
The connection links the cities of Copenhagen and Malmö, or more precisely Kastrup and Lernacken. As said this tunnel is between Kastrup and the artificial island Peberholm. The tunnel goes through the Drogden Strait, a part of Øresund. The tunnel is more than 4km long and beneath the road lanes, there are also two railway tracks.

I made some decisions for the PP of this shot: not to rotate the shot to create somehow more motion in the shot; not to crop our car our of the picture to keep the reflection of the other green car. And I add a simple, small frame.

Hope you like this!
