Photographer's Note

This is a 2nd blue hour photo of, the Old Town Hall in Prague. I could not resist to also take a close up of the tower of the Town Hall.

The Old Town Hall was constructed 1338 after King John of Luxemburg agreed to set up a seat for the e first town council. In the following centuries Prague developed into a wealthy city and the Town Hall gradually was expanded and today it consist of a number of colourful Gothic and Renaissance buildings from different centuries. The Town Hall was heavily damaged during the Second World War but most of the buildings have been carefully restored. . The height of the Tower is 69,5 m and is hosting the famous astronomical clock originally installed in 1410 but then rebuilt in 1490.
