Photographer's Note
This is a blue hour shot of the the Týn Church in Prague. The construction of present church in gothic style begun in the 14th century and continued in the 15th century. The roof was completed in 1490s. The north tower was finished in 1466 while the south tower was not finished until 1511. The twin towers of church are 80 m high and are surrounded by four small spires. The towers are not identical. One of them is a bit more solid and it is said to represent the man. The interior is rather dark and mainly in Gothic style. In 1679 the Týn Church was hit by fire and the main nave was then reconstructed in Baroque style. Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) is buried in the church.

Incredible amount of detail captured in the stonework of the building. The variations in colour are fascinating. Timing of the shot was absolutely right as the remaining light in the sky has enabled you to retain the detail of the spires.
A appreciate how difficult it is to keep the image square on when looking up like this, but the very slight tilt is made more obvious by the line at the bottom.
That is however a very minor point on a great image.

Hello Ulf,
Very beautiful blue hour picture of the Týn Church. Good idea to focus on the towers and their spires. Indeed, the towers aren't identical. Very beautiful architecture and well detailed picture.
Also very nice with the yellowbrown of the top of the houses in front of the church.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ulf,
An interesting colour contrast, where the ochre houses stand out against the the church and evening sky!
An fine composition with pin sharp details, and the mix of colours gives a special impact...
Well exposed!

Bonjour Ulf
Un cadrage très serré et intéressant de cette église.
L'exposition est correcte, mais il n'était pas facile d'ajuster à cause des projecteurs puissants.
Je pense qu'l est possible d'utiliser ShiftN pour redresser la perspective.
Amitiés.

Hi Ulf, The gorgeous Our Lady before Tyn church & the two towers, Adam & Eve, taken from probably my favourite square in the world, there is great light in this excellent symmetrical picture, the blue hour background looks so good & assists the architecture brilliantly, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Ulf,
the blue hour and the lighting produce a misterious effect - not strange from the Gothic architecture. I don't think including the yellow facades was a good idea but the effect is still there.
