Photographer's Note

Staromestske namesti, in German also known as Altstädter Ring, is the very heart of Prague and busy at all times of the day. Apart from the Town hall,the square is dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas, the Rococo Kinský Palace, the Gothic House at the Stone Bell and the monument to Jan Hus.
Taken on film with my old Canon A1.

There was no choice in those days. You had your 400 ASA film and you were forced to long exposure times, no matter what people did. I was lucky to get a sharp image when shooting free handed...
