Photographer's Note

In 1634, Nachod castle passed into the hands of general Octavio Piccolomini, later Duke of Amalfithe, he rebuilt the castle in the baroque style and bought rich collections of Flemish tapestries and numerous works of art. His heirs renovated the castle and turned it into a great family residence, in 1751 the French Garden was arranged over the moat.
In this garden I observed a photo session, little girls in flimsy white dresses posing for two photographers (probably their mothers).
In WS, another photo from the garden.
