Photographer's Note
Chateau Karlova Koruna (Charles's Crown) in Chlumec nad Cidlinou was built as the summer-seat of Count Frantisek Ferdinand Kinsky (the Kinky family still own it), the First Chancellor of the Kingdom of Bohemia, in 1721-23. The building was designed by Jan Santini Aichel and it is his masterpiece. Building works were directed by the Prague architect Frantisek Maxmilian Kanka. Ground-plan reminding the royal crown is quite unique. It consists of a cylindrical core with three wings each of three rooms with square floors.
Jan Santini Aichel is my favorite Baroque Architect. Hi lived in 1677 - 1723 and designed many great buildings (mostly churches and monasteries) in Czechia. His style is really unique and strongly influenced by Gothic style -- already 200 years old in his era. I hope I'll present you some of them some day.
This is probably my first photo on TE without any post processing at all, except a bit of sharpening after resizing. Not bad I think, taking into account it was taken in strong summer sun around noon.

ahoj marek, not bad indeed, particularly considering that light; tough to do something about composition meaning the leaning building must be leaning if you have decided not to intervene with pp, but still a nice shot really;
imagine how an effectful image would it be if all the windows but just one were closed;

Hi Marek !
Yes, it's not so easy to get a nice shot at noon, but here the facade is very well illuminated and the heavy shadows are only in the bottom contrasting the trees.
A beautiful chateau very well captured, as usual. The note is very comprehensive.
All the best !

Hi Marek. Yes every once in a while one comes along that doesn't need much help, just like this one. I can see why you like the architect's style as it's very refined and beautiful. The light is great, especially with the play of the greens in the foreground. Good one Marek!

Hi Marek
Good to see you back with some postings. This one is for sure a fine presentation of the castle. Good choice to include the green in the lower part as a contrast to the white building
