Photographer's Note

We look at the Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir. The church was inaugurated in 1902. The church was built as a result of growing attendance spa guests from Russia. The church was built in just two years. Architect was Gustav Wiedermann Františkovy Lazne. The church is built as proposed by a member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, Nikolai Vladimirovich Sultan. The exterior of the church is unique. The basis is a Greek cross plan with semicircular apses Remi, which stands on the massive granite blocks. The interior is decorated with paintings, ornaments and icons. There is also an iconostasis.
