I think you had a good idea here. It doesn't exactly work mostly because of too tight a crop. It would be better to have a little blue sky above the top and then back up a bit to include the whole house at bottom - or crop it above the bottom windows. A little more space on the left as well. Also it looks a bit soft and could probably do with some sharpening for web to make it just a bit crisper on screen. There is a nice arrangement of buildings here and I can see why you took the shot. Hope this helps a bit.
