Hello James,
My first idea was that this picture was taken on a kind of defensive wall around an old city.
For sure very remarkable chimneys.
A little more artistically approached, these chimneys could be a rough prototype for Gaudi's designs in Barcelona (La Pedrera).

Your photograph is perfectly angled, creating an excellent sense of perspective, as well as capturing the features with clarity.

I intended to visit Croatia again this year but it was cancelled :(
It is such a photogenic country!
Great level of the contrast here! The chimney add very interesting repeated pattern but also the roof and the hills are repeated behind.
Very visually attractive resulting geometry.
