Photographer's Note

The Sveti Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (Свети Александър Невски) in Sofia is an Orthodox cathedral, built in Neo-Byzantine style.
Being one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the world, it’s the symbol of Sofia and has become a primary tourist attraction.

A big surprise to me was that the plane that brought me to Bulgaria flew over the centre of the capital just a few minutes before the landing and right under my window I could admire this beauty of Sofia.
(If travelling to Bulgaria from a more western country choose a seat at the right side of the plane)

Happy Easter !
Orthodox people will have to be patient till April, 27th to celebrate Easter.
