Photographer's Note

Hi, I tried to post this yesterday with a more elaborate frame but the post was turned down. So, I hope, today TErs will be able to see two men, one in contemplation and the other one on permanent watch.
The monument erected in commemoration of the soldiers dead in WW1.
I'll have to learn more about the monument in the weeks to come.
Till then I'd only like to add that all wars led so far were caused by greed and nothing but greed and avarice.
Should soldiers die for it?
Should so many lives be lost or bodies maimed?
Why? For another barrel of oil? For another diamond ring?
Should nations annahilate other nations before dawning on the idea dead enemies are no longer enemies?
Should we destroy ourselves to have the enlightened mind that wars beget wars, hatred begets hatred?
How many more weapons should we produce before becoming aware, we have much more important issues to deal with?
Well, I'm definitely all in for Mahatma Ghandi ideas of non-violence.
Nice and peaceful Tuesday!
As you may rightly guess, it's a pp shot and the place is...yes, you are dead right, in the sea garden.
I've added another shot to let you see why the monument was erected.
Pls, look at the WS
