Photographer's Note
Taken in yacht port of Balchik, in a late afternoon...
This is the same boat as in my shot from yesterday, only the angle and POV are different here. It is not such a close up but the anchor with its unusual shape is still visable.
Just behind this yacht was tied another one with all over painted body. The themes were mainly God Neptun and a lot of mermaids around him, and obviously it has taken a lot of time to those who had the patience to paint them there. But according to my tastes it was a pure trash so I decided not to honour it with a shot...;-D
Hope you will enjoy it...
PS: I think I used the fill flash here too (because of the black painted corpus), but it did me a bad favour, as the light was reflected on the snow-white colour of the ropes and the result was not quite charming...:-/

Maria, I am fascinated by your boats. It is definitely a theme in itself, but a very personal theme because your boats have something related to the way you approach photography ( as well as yesterday's boats are his boats and not the ones of anybody else).
I only regret that the ropes are a little bit overexposed here, because we loose detail (and you know how much the texture detail of ropes can be interesting). Good job!!

Another Boat with nice details Maria,
I like the way you took it, the reflexion in the water the colours, and the depth, good job again Maria.

Yes the white ropes look a bit blown out, but other than that the geometry and the beautiful details of the EKO are fully intact, Maria ;-) I recognized the featured topic of your previous shot, this time seen from a bit more distance. The boat in the background, even what you chose to include by your shooting angle, already looks a bit trashy but the reflection it casts is not too bad :-) Very nice one again.

These ropes, three beautiful lines, and again, the water (it's the same water) which I like....

Very good colours and interesing composition, but I can't ignore the exposure, you have a real problem, lot of details gone because of the difficult light.

Amazing what a different shot you've got from such a slightly PoV can give. I think I prefer this one with the lines made by the mooring ropes.

I recognized that boat immediately, Maria, the beautiful one. I like the way the there ropes meet in the corner and the black background. reflection is very nice too, a well as the other boat. Very nice composition.

Hi Maria, except for the overexposure, as you yourself already mentioned, it's av ery nice composition, nice colours, and the reflection in the water, is really nice. Nice boat, BTW. Classy.

This is also nice (but I prefer the tighter crop yesterday). IMHO, I would crop out the overexposed part on top. It also has a graphical effect which was achieved by your framing and composition. Once again, it is a good work, Maria.

As yesterday's picture a good composition, the color and contrast, the light is brn out (overexpoced) thats a shame.

Oh yes . now I can see - very fine maria - in fact I like this even more :-)
The composition of water, boat and robes relaxing to watch and the blurred colered backgound with reflections actually adds extra too the image - May be I should take a second look at my unposted boatshots ;-))

Maria, overall, very nice and pleasing. The ropes you mentioned. However, there are three other pictures here, one the anchor you have already posted, the other is those beautiful reflections in the water and then the drum with the lovely rust.

Good placement of the ropes and the lines they make in the composition. The placement of the knot to the right works well for the total impression of the pix. Well done Maria

Wow! This is a really fine image Maria, beautifully composed from the ropes converging at one corner to the discolored barrel at another corner with the strong shape of the boat, against the soft undulating water with the colorful reflections of the more distant boat. This is a feast for the eyes. I like it very much. And always, your note is a fine addition to the experience of enjoying one of your images. Thank you for that as well.

It is necessary to be in love with boats to by-pass them and discover the best angle and you make it very well. I like very much looking at your works. This one is magnificent, the composition, the colours, the angle of the photo, I find it completes. Excuse the translation.

Hi Maria,
I like the way you show the ropes' convergeance to the bottom RH corner of your frame, a fitting anchor point for this image. It's a pity the boat beyond shows a small amount of OE (unless my cheap screen the issue here, of course), and if indeed that is the case, a tighter crop would assist in the photograph's enhancement.
Regards, and a top weekend to you,
Vic, Singapore.
