Hoeke and surroundings.

I took this photo during the lock-down in Hoeke
This is a remnant of the brickworks where the clay was removed and the gaps left as a pond
But now a lovely piece of nature
The Hoeke brickyard used the Damse canal to export bricks.
You can connect to find the farm.
The historic Sint-Christoffelhoeve ad Damsevaart
# + - 1950 '# Damse canal on the bridge in Damme ## The bridge on the Dam canal was still running at that time. The bijlander, a wooden tow ship, is heading for Sluis. This barge is centered between the wooden spire and the box. His sailing area was mainly on the West Flemish canals and rivers. Dimensions: 37.5m long, 6m wide and with a barrel size of 300. The farmers also shipped grain and sugar beet.

I hope you like it
