JHM New site DEC 2018 – 2019

During a bike trip yesterday with nice blue sky
Formidable bike weather.

History of the farm, wonderful in this nice rural landscape.
Only through a private road to find.
But with my bicycle comes I everywhere.

Farmhouse on spacious grazed grounds with orchard behind; detached buildings on L-shaped plan: early 18th-century residential stable house and barn, behind the house a early 19th-century summer kitchen. Site already indicated on the map of P. Pourbus from 1561-1571, to be found in its current composition on the map of Ferraris (1770-1778).
Wing of a farmhouse and stable characterized by a long, closed façade on the street side. White-washed brick construction under pans of saddle roofs, farmhouse with upstairs room under the same ridge. Adjoining barn is dated "1734" on a (according to Devliegher, reused) beam. Angled single-legged cross shed under a tile roof with a rising loading door; red brick side gables, the former wooden longitudinal facades have been replaced by brick..

I hope that you enjoy it
