Geese, a couple with chicks

The large Canada goose (Branta canadensis), or Canadian goose or “Canadagans”, belongs to the genus Branta
This genus contains many species that mainly have black feathers, black head and black, long neck. Typical of this type of black geese is the white band from the throat to the cheeks. The black neck turns into a whitish breast. This is in contrast to the species of the Anser genus. The plumage is the same for both sexes. The body length is 55 to 100 cm and the weight 3 to 6 kg.
