Photographer's Note

One of the more retired spots of the town of Theux in the Ardennes, Vertbuisson has managed to keep it's rural spirit up until now.
This year, heavy snowfall has made access to the village dificult, but what an opportunity to shoot some lovely pictures in B&W!
The well known Ninglinspo torrent has it's source not far from here.

Hello Frans,
You on West haven't notion about winter and snow. In my countryside snow is from the end of November to today. In the morning I've been skiing near my house.
I like winter photos and yours in B&W is very nice, good lights and shadows.

I like this winter landscape, black and white is a good choice.
the composition is good and the braches of he trees have nice shapes and details.

HI Frans,

This I really like .. The near to far dimension created by the gate and the layers of trees is great .. I bet this was a pain to sharpen for this size and it looks great .. thoughtful and evocative image. ..
