Photographer's Note

The owl Large-Duke is the largest owl of Europe. It has large eyes oranges, a striped fawn-coloured chest, stained back of dark brown. It lived in the past in all Europe, limited today to the timbered mountain chains, little touched by the man. It nests in the caves of rocks, the wall holes or uses the old nests of raptors.
