Photographer's Note

Since the Middle Ages, the Lordship of Esneux was one of seven Lordships beyond Wood, under the Duchy of Limburg, an enclave in the Principality of Liege.
The "Village of Fontin, located on the town, took place September 18, 1794 a battle between the imperial troops and the French republicans. A fear of this battle has given its name to one of the most famous coasts Liege-Bastogne-Liege in the nearby town of Aywaille, Côte de la Redoute. This race goes there every year by the Joint Esneux.
My journey ends in the RAVEL Sunday, 9km distance traveled.
