Photographer's Note

The name Croÿ comes from Crouy, small village of the valley of the Somme to Picardy or Croye, old name meaning "chalk" according to the composition of the ground of the place.

Croÿ are an old house (family) of France which has appeared for 500 years in the History.
Their ascent claimed with the kings of Hungary is dubious.
