Sijsele

Together with my friend his car, to take his photo in Sijsele a beautiful forest and fishing area.
For my neighbor a real surprise, had never been here

Where are the Meibos ponds located?

The Meibos ponds are located a few hundred meters from the center of Sijsele in the province of West Flanders. In a green environment you can enjoy an oasis of peace.
All fishing methods are applied. Fixed pole, feeder, match rod, etc ...
They also fish for pike, zander and eel. The carp angler will certainly find something here too.
Where can the viver be found?
From the direction of Bruges:
Follow the Maalse Steenweg towards Sijsele. Just before the traffic lights towards Damme you turn right into the Kerkweg. After approximately 300 meters you will arrive at the Meibos Fishermen's domain.
From the direction of Maldegem:
Follow the Gentse steenweg to the center of Sijsele. After the second traffic lights after 100 meters turn left into the Kerkweg. After approximately 300 meters you will arrive at the Meibos Fishermen's domain.

Hello John,
I recognize the buildings but you found a different angle for this photo from the lake. Another difference is that the colours are less saturated than before. Maybe the light had changed between the two photos, but whatever the reason for the difference this looks rather better. I also like that you could included a person this time. A fishing lake needs a fisherman.

Hello John, another perfectly still and calm day if the reflection is anything to go by, a perfect mirror. A beautiful composition with beautiful colours.

Salut John,

These fishing lakes are also popular in South Korea. Good colour, sharpness and saturation, with nice reflections. The yellow trees contrast superbly with the blue sky and water. Tfs!

A very nice spot for fishing - a wonderfully calm lake. The man working however might scare away the fish - maybe some noise. Hard to tell what kind of equipment he has. perfect reflection. Be nice if someday we can fish together. David

If we ever visit Belgium, this would be a pleasing place to visit!
Who could resist the beauty of these autumn colours, surrounding the water, and then being replicated as reflections.
It's stunning!
I like how you have created a fine sense of depth by including the trees on the left, under which can be see a groundsman, who adds a little human interest as well as a good focal point.

Hallo John, that lake dedicated to fishing represents a beautiful recreational area. It is surrounded by forest and the autumn colors prettify the natural setting. The shores are maintained, i see a man with maybe a machine to cut the grass on the left. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

Hi John,
beautiful autumnal scenery.
I like the well saturated color tones.
I think I would rather cut away the guy and even the buildings, focusing entirely on the trees and their reflection in the lake, they are so pretty!
But some people like human presence in photos so this man certainly adds some interest and action to the scene.
