Hoeke a village on 5 KM of the Belgian coasts (The North Sea)

The grazing project is an initiative of the Province of West Flanders and the Board of Waterways and Sea Canals which, after having carried out a botanical study by biologist Arnaut Zwaenepoel, put their hands together to literally put the grazing with sheep along the Damse Vaart back on its feet. . The valuable tourist area of the Damse Vaart has an extra advantage.
The area to be grazed is now 15 ha. It is the intention of both governments to extend this in the future to 50 ha with the possibility of integration of the banks of the Leopold and Schipdonk canal and various dikes in the Zwin region and thus also in Knokke-Heist.

I hope that you enjoy it
