The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the reflections. The colors are very good. Have a nice day.

Hallo John,
Het rimpelloze meer is de perfecte spiegel voor de dichtbegroeide oever met de vele bomen in verschillende groene tinten. Ook de stralend blauwe lucht is prachtig. De belichting kon niet beter, heel mooie foto van goede compositie.

Hello John,
Indeed, it looks a very pleasant morning for a stroll around the lake. I like the framing here with the lakeside sweeping round the frame giving the composition depth and perspective. Lights and colours are very agreeable and the reflections lovely to view. You seem to have had the place all to yourself; a sense of calm and serenity reigns.

Quel beau plan d'eau. Le point de vue est remarquable et en plus il n'y a pas un souffle de vent ce jour là, ce qui donne un aspect miroir à l'eau. Superbe journée.

Hello John,

No wonder you were inspired to take this photograph, for the the calmness of the water and the brightness of the light has created reflections which are as sharp as if made by a mirror!
I like your idea of using some f/g vegetation to help create a sense of depth across the frame. Both your photographs show this feature but, for me, the w/s photograph is better for it creates a diagonal and in the main photograph, the f/g branches can easily merge with the willow tree across the water.

Hi John,

A serene, mirror like reflection in the unruffled water, with good colour, sharpness and saturation. I like the long curve from the bottom right to the centre far left. Nice repetition of the trees. Tfs!

I like the perfect vertical symmetry of the image, and the beautiful well saturated colors, the tones of green look very natural! Very good sharpness, and the perfect mirror formed by the calm water is great! Very nice reflections! Wonderful composition!

Hallo John, that lake represents a perfect recreational spot. People can come here to walk, to fish or to have a pic nic. The trees growing on its shores reflect in the calm water. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
