Photographer's Note

A picture out of the series forest of Drongengoed, one of us most beautiful forests in this environment.
I took this picture again in my lovely forest at Ursel between Bruges and Ghent on 19 mi of the Belgium coast, and 50 mi of Brussels.
These Lake is a provisioning for animals and birds out of forest.
2005 December a very beautiful autumn day, a little bit misty and very lovely for a good bicycle trip trough the forest.
The sun given a splendid long shadow and temperature around the 10° Celsius, I been together with a other member of TE Hendrik De Leyn (hdl)

Hello John,
Beautiful composition. The golden background of trees is lucrative. The great reflection over water is very attractive. You also managed to show the beautiful sky in this reflection.
Good contrast and saturaion with sharpness.

Goedemorgen John, zeer interessante capture van dit bos ven. Door de compo en fraai reflecties is het een mooi verstilde en sfeervolle plaat geworden. De lichte achergrond geeft het een grote diepte en tevens een bijna mysterieus karakter samen met de harde contrasten. De defintie is natuurlijk weer goed. Heel mooi werk John. Een goed weekend toegewenst uit een zonnig Roitterdam bij 5 graden.

Good framing for this nature photo including the richly detailed reflections, John. A difficult one regarding the exposure, and some of the colors in the bright area in the background don't look quite right - but overall a good piece of work and well presented.

Hi John, A beautiful shot with nice saturated color and excellent composition through the reflections to see the beautiful view around the pond. Good use of the lights. I would crop 1/8 from the top, since I feel that the very top is a little over exposed.

J'adore ce tableau. Tu es depuis longtemps un excellent peintre du numérique. Ton PP est idéalement exagéré pour cette composition qui autrement, offrirait un piètre spectacle.

Hi John. The lighting looks a bit tough to handle but you kept it under good control. You have some good contrast of colors. We don't often seen reflections this good in this tight of a forest. Excellent shot John.

Hi John, Amazingly green for a December picture. There are a clarity and sharpness to the picture that really catch the eye. The reflection of the nude trees in the water add some warmth to the whole. Nice.
